Teens Build Muscle through Dedication
While younger children can benefit from some physical training it is not until the later teen years as the body is reaching maturity that serious training will return positive results or should even be done. Still, it’s a process that takes a little time.
Teens should begin with strength training through traditional exercises along with resistance training. This helps them learn to control their bodies. If they can effectively lift their own body weight, they will be ready for the weight room. This phase of their training will help burn off that last bit of baby fat and make them building muscle stronger. This phase of the training should last at least six weeks before they hit the weights; they will still build muscle and it will better prepare them for lifting.
Everyone knows that teenagers are at their peak in hormone production. Physical training can and will channel it positively. The dedication it takes to succeed at bodybuilding or just maintaining top physical conditioning teaches positive life lessons of self-discipline and commitment and respect for others.
